He brings over twenty years experience in the enterprise security market where, through a range of roles including engineering, product management and product marketing. Prior to Menlo Security, Guntrip held various management roles within companies including Proofpoint, Symantec and Cisco.
Guntrip earned his Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Southampton University, UK.

Steve holds a CISSP certification from (ISC)2 and has authored more than a dozen books on topics related to information security, network infrastructure, and Big Data.
Nick Edwards, VP of Product Management, Menlo Security

Nick Edwards is VP of Product at Menlo Security where he runs a team dedicated to building solutions that make using the internet safe, seamless, and effective by securing the way people work. Previously, Nick was the founder and CEO of GradientOne Inc. He graduated with a BS in Control Systems Engineering from the US Naval Academy, and subsequently spent five years as a Submarine Officer on Los Angeles Class fast attack submarines. After the Navy, he attended Harvard Business School, where he earned an MBA, and has since been working for both startups and big companies in Silicon Valley, including Silver Tail Systems/RSA, the security division of EMC, Cisco Systems via the IronPort Systems acquisition, and Redback Networks.
Jack Miller, Head of Professional Services, Menlo Security

For over 20 years, Jack has been at the forefront of Information Security. After 16 years of building and running enterprise security programs and operations as a CISO for 4 multi-billion dollar organizations, Jack shifted his focus to the startup world, first working as an Executive in Residence for a leading VC and then running security, strategy, operations and services for multiple US and European security startups. Currently, Jack serves as Head of Global Professional Services for Menlo Security where he leverages his experience with enterprise deployments to build people and processes to decrease time to value and ensure a successful onboarding experience for Menlo customers. Jack has written numerous articles and blogs on Information Security and regularly presents at industry conferences, sharing his insights to help mold the next generation of security leaders.
John Grady, Senior Analyst, ESG

Senior Analyst John Grady covers network security at ESG. John leverages over 15 years of IT vendor and analyst experience to help clients identify and quantify key market trends to facilitate data-driven business decisions. Prior to ESG, John spent four years at Symantec in different market insights and strategy roles supporting product, go-to-market, and executive stakeholders. Previous to that, John worked as an analyst covering network, web, and email protection, leading initial research initiatives on then-emerging areas such as advanced threat prevention and DDoS.
